Keshika De Saram (B.D.A. ’14, M.Arch ’17) Elected President of AIAS

At the American Institute of Architecture Students’ (AIAS) annual FORUM conference, the Council of Presidents elected the 2017-18 board of directors. Among those elected was College of Design graduate student Keshika De Saram (B.D.A. ’14, M.Arch ’17) who will now serve a one-year term on the AIAS board of directors as the organization’s 61st president.

A Hug for Children with Sensory Processing Disorder

Wearable Technology Lab graduate research assistant Julia Duvall (Apparel Design ‘15) and undergraduate research assistant Nicholas Schleif (Electrical Engineering & Product Design) won the student design competition at the 2016 Augmented Human conference in Geneva, Switzerland with their deep pressure vest that “hugs” children with sensory processing disorder.
