College of Design Leadership

The College of Design's leadership team is dedicated to supporting each and every design student along their academic career path and to uphold the college's mission to lead, innovate, and educate in a full range of design fields.

College of Design Dean

Dr. Prasad Boradkar is dean of the College of Design. He is a designer, anthropologist, educator, and researcher with several years of experience leading design and research teams in both academia and industry. Most recently Boradkar served as UX research and sustainability lead at Google’s Advanced Technology & Projects Division, where he led efforts on user experience research and sustainable development for health and wellness products.

Associate Dean for Academic Programs

Associate Dean Juanjuan Wu is a professor in retail and consumer studies and the director of the College of Design's Interdisciplinary Design Minor. Her research specialties include 3D virtual/augmented reality retail environments and consumer responses; co-design and crowdsourcing in online retailing and consumer behavior; and fashion studies focusing on Chinese fashion, design, retail, and consumption.
