Prasad Boradkar

College of Design Dean

Dr. Prasad Boradkar is dean of the College of Design. He is a designer, anthropologist, educator, and researcher with several years of experience leading design and research teams in both academia and industry. Most recently Boradkar served as UX research and sustainability lead at Google’s Advanced Technology & Projects Division, where he led efforts on user experience research and sustainable development for health and wellness products.

Greg Donofrio

Associate Dean of Faculty & Academic Affairs

Greg Donofrio is the associate dean of faculty at the College of Design. He is an associate professor of historic preservation and public history in the School of Architecture, director of the Heritage Studies and Public History program, and is affiliate faculty in the Masters in Urban and Regional Planning program at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.

 

Linsey Griffin

Interim Associate Dean for Research

Interim Associate Dean Linsey Griffin is an associate professor in Apparel Design and director of the Human Dimensioning Lab.

Trevor Milller

Assistant Dean for Strategy and Advancement

Assistant Dean for Strategy & Advancement Trevor Miller oversees all collegiate advancement and information technology and provides leadership and analysis for collegiate/unit strategic initiatives.

Steve Yang

Assistant Dean for Student Services

As assistant dean for student services, Steve Yang focuses on collaborating with other college leaders and student services staff to shape and support processes, programming, and initiatives that improve the student experience.

Barry Kudrowitz

Head of the Department of Design Innovation

Dr. Barry Kudrowitz is a professor and head of the Department of Graphic Design, Apparel Design, Retail and Consumer Studies, and Product Design. He received his Ph.D. from the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), studying humor, creativity, and idea generation.

Joe Favour

Acting Head of the Department of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Interior Design (ALI)

Joe Favour has over 25 years of professional experience in both private practice and academia. His teaching and practice interests are focused on the intersection of creative design of landscapes, the implementation process of built work, and the cost/material/performance implications of design.

Terresa Hardaway, outdoors, smiling

Director of Design Justice and Chair of the Faculty Assembly

Terresa Hardaway is the Director of Design Justice and Chair of the college's Faculty Assembly. She is an associate professor of Graphic Design, a McKnight Presidential Fellow, and Event Director of the UMN Juneteenth Celebration.

Stephanie Dilworth

Director of Budget, Finance, and Facilities

Stephanie Dilworth is the Chief Financial Manager for the college. She is responsible for all sponsored and non-sponsored finance and payroll activities.

Mia Riza

Director of Human Resources

Mia Riza is the Director of Human Resources for the college and oversees and directs college HR functions, including coaching for staffing, recruitment, on-boarding, and professional development.

Chair of the Staff Assembly

Chris Schlichting is the Chair of the college's Staff Assembly. He is an academic advisor for Architecture, Landscape Design and Planning, and Product Design.
