In her role as Director of Human Resources for the college, Mia directs the development of continuously improving, forward-thinking, client-oriented college HR functions. Mia leads the development, implementation, and assessment of short- and long-term HR strategies and goals; effective recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and existing processes. As a member of the College of Design Senior Leadership Group, she collaborates with leadership to promote the development and implementation of unit and college diversity and inclusion goals; she also leads professional development and engagement initiatives to increase workplace effectiveness and retain high-performing employees.
