Join the Product Innovation Lab for a theatrical show of product design prototypes for the community, family, friends, and industry.

Product Innovation Lab is a hands-on, project-based introduction to the product design process. Students work in small cross-disciplinary teams to design and prototype their own product concepts with help from consumers and industry.

This year, students are working with Hape to design role-play toys that integrate sensory compounds (e.g., slime, kinetic sand, and water slime) for preschoolers. Since its establishment, Hape has become an industry leader when it comes to designing and manufacturing high-quality, educational, and environmentally friendly toys for infants and children. Its extensive range of toy categories covers over 20 lines, including STEAM toys, musical toys, kitchen toys, sand toys, role-play toys, outdoor toys, and more. We are excited to see what our 10 student teams come up with this year!

Light refreshments will be served after the event while you meet each of the teams and interact with their final prototypes!
