About Communications & Marketing
The College of Design marketing and communications team assists with publicizing events, sharing CDES news and announcements, outreach to reporters, and can assist with the creation of digital graphics. They manage the CDes Weekly Newsletter, the College of Design's website, the digital display monitors in McNeal and Rapson Hall, and the College of Design's official social media accounts. The team also works closely with the University of Minnesota Office of Admissions to develop undergraduate recruitment materials.

College of Design Newsletter/Social Media Inclusion
To have your CDES related news, events, and opportunities considered for inclusion in an upcoming newsletter or featured on our social media channels, fill out this newsletter submission form. Photos and/or digital graphics are required to be considered for a headline spot in the newsletter or a feature on social media. For event promotion in the newsletter, events will be featured roughly two weeks before the event date. This newsletter acts as a weekly reminder of what’s coming up in the CDES and design community. Some submissions may not be selected due to capacity limitations.

Digital Displays
We have created a downloadable digital display templates and documentation for the public display screens located in McNeal and Rapson Halls. Please include a QR code in your graphic that links to a page where people can learn more about your event. A display runs for roughly 10 seconds before changing to the next slide. Events advertised on our digital displays may run for a month before the event date.
