This exhibition featured tapestries designed and handwoven by members of Stella Polaris, a Twin Cities artist group. Tapestry, as a modern art form, was undergoing a resurgence. This exhibition included twenty-one original works, along with artist statements, writings on sources of inspiration and a workable loom. The artists featured found expression in a variety of styles from spare to complex, from structure-based to romantic, and in natural and abstract forms.
