e.motion 2019 senior fashion show

Attempting to represent both their internal and external movements, e.motion embodies what the senior apparel design students have come to understand in the past 4 years. While navigating the creative process, they have been required to continually shift their thoughts and bodies in order to develop their skills, deepen their points of view, and identify themselves as individual designers. The students encourage you to explore your own emotions in relation to the clothes you wear.

e.motion: 2019 Senior Fashion Show

  • February 2–April 28, 2019
  • HGA Link

This year’s senior apparel design class began developing their original collections in the spring of 2017 and worked with industry mentors to focus their research, inspiration, and audience. In the fall, they designed and produced the collection while planning and promoting e.motion, the 51st annual runway show. Attempting to represent both their internal and external movements, e.motion embodies what the senior apparel design students have come to understand in the past 4 years. As emotionally driven designers, they have worked to create 12 separate lines rooted in their respective experiences and moods. While navigating the creative process, they have been required to continually shift their thoughts and bodies in order to develop their skills, deepen their points of view, and identify themselves as individual designers. The students encourage you to explore your own emotions in relation to the clothes you wear.
