Nathan Knutson is Managing Principal of VJAA where he has practiced since the firm’s founding in 1995. He received his Master of Architecture from the University of Minnesota and also holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from St. Olaf College. In addition to collaborating on the firm’s major projects, Nathan is responsible for the office’s fiscal management, scheduling, and contracts. In 2002, he received an AIA Minnesota Young Architect Award. Nathan also teaches professional practice at the University of Minnesota School of Architecture.
