ASK (501c3 Non Profit), Executive Director (2018–present) 

  • Directs grant-funded research related to fresh water systems and resilient planning/design.
  • Directs non-profit activities and design work for underserved communities in Minneapolis and abroad.
  • Development and launch of hybrid studio model business plan, website, marketing, and outreach.

    • Mapping the New Natural City - Graduate Seminar focusing on digital mapping, integrative research and sustainable urban design/planning strategies.
    • Dexter Lake Rowing Center - Undergraduate studio providing core training in building/site design. Focus on model making, representation, and design process for 2nd year students.

    • Member of National committee working with board members to solidify architects’ role in coordinated resilience planning and post-disaster assistance/assessment through AIA’s network of professionals.
    • Primary author of chapters one and two in the new AIA Disaster Assistance Handbook v4 (2021)
  • AIA MN–Minnesota State Disaster Assistance Coordinator (2018–present)
    • Founded and active coordinator of AIA Minnesota’s disaster assistance network. Linking certified design professionals with governmental services in disaster situations across the United States.
