Marcelo Valdes

Adjunct Assistant Professor, Architecture

Worked in residential architecture for the last 20 years. Has designed affordable housing and designed-built single units using brick and concrete systems in his native country, Uruguay. Works in residential design in the US, where he has focused on wood building systems in his studies at the U of M. Is interested in building systems and materials and the impact they have on architectural design.
