Bradley Agee is a longtime UMN lecturer, former Director of Undergraduate Studies in the School of Landscape Architecture and a design/build professional. Alternating between a 30-year old design build practice and a 30-year teaching and administrative relationship with the College of Design, Mr. Agee continues to find great satisfaction in his dual roles in academia and of professional practice. “I think at best the passion I have for design, the enthusiasm I bring to the classroom and the accessibility I offer my students to consider broadly connected ideas independently has contributed to the larger goals of the college.” Mr. Agee interacts with undergraduate students at multiple points in their academic careers and directly affects the direction, values, development, and interests of a new generation of young designers. He is particularly interested in graphic representation, landscape architectural history, spatial perception, and the evolving definition of public and private space.
