Angie Miller Foley has been an expert in footwear design and construction for over a decade. She studied Footwear Design at the Art Institute of Chicago and received her B.S. degree in Clothing Design at the University of Minnesota. Angie is interested in understanding how the foot is affected by footwear, new technologies around customization, and evolving materials used in footwear production. She researched foot shapes and sizing using global 3D foot scans in collaboration with SATRA. She has traveled extensively to Asia developing and prototyping footwear.  Angie also has years of experience in design and technical development of apparel, handbags and accessories as well as textile design.
