Bring your family and friends and join members of the College of Design community for a UMN Day of Service activity in Rapson Hall. Come and go any time that fits your schedule.

Can't attend? Drop off art to donate and check out other UMN Day of Service Activities in April, or add your own!

During our Design Student and Alumni Board hosted activity, volunteers will create a piece of 5"x7" or 8"x10" artwork which Simpson Housing Services will sell at their upcoming Art 4 Shelter auction event. Each piece of art sold at the event provides a night of housing for someone in need.

We'll have some materials, but volunteers can also bring their own or donate materials if desired! This event is drop-in, so you can come and leave anytime during the activity. Light snacks will be provided.

This event is open to everyone—a background in art is not required!

Prize Drawing: All participants will be entered in a drawing to win a $50 gift card for the Minnesota Sculpture Garden Art Fair featuring talks by local artists about their work and experiences.

Registration is requested to help with planning but all are welcome to drop by and make art to drop off art you'd like to donate.

Food Drive: Participants are invited to bring non-perishable food items to contribute to the Design Justice Food Drive, which also takes place in Rapson Hall at the same time as this event.
