ABOUT THE PROJECT
In a neighborhood at the confluence of industrial and post-industrial uses, this project explores how the West Midway area can become a new typology--'co-industrial'. By exploring space planning decisions at the neighborhood scale, and applying those decisions at the scale of a singular city block, this project envisions how transitioning industrial areas can function industrially, ecologically, using phytoremediation and stormwater infrastructure, and for post-industrial uses.
