College of Design computer labs and Digital Design Review (DDR) equipment may be reserved for use based on space, availability, and need. Read more for instruction on how to request a reservation as a staff or faculty member, student, or guest.

Computer Labs

Faculty & Staff

College of Design faculty and staff can reserve the Rapson Hall room 33 and McNeal Hall room 305 classroom labs for University-related purposes. 

Students

College of Design students interested in reserving a room for University-related purposes may make the request via a faculty member that will "sponsor" the reservation. 

Guests

Any reservation requested by a non-College of Design employee will be subject to a usage fee.

Make a Request

Please contact CDES IT ([email protected]) for reservations or questions about room availability or technology. When making a reservation, please provide the desired room, date, time, and a brief description of the reservation purpose. You will receive an email confirming your reservation if the room is available at the requested time. Room schedules can also be reviewed in the University's Astra system.

Digital Design Review (DDR)

In support of our college’s review and critique processes, we offer moveable digital display systems available for checkout in addition to several display screens permanently positioned in college studios and critique spaces. 

Technology for checkout

The DDR systems available for checkout include wireless-enabled PCs loaded with common design software that are available for instructor and student use. 

  • Rapson Hall: 2x2 quad screen and 55" display screen. 
  • McNeal Hall: are a 2x2 quad screen and 55" touch screen.

Note: you may reserve one screen at a time.
