Provides communities with design assistance, meeting facilitation, referrals and technical resources. MDC offers a limited amount of positions for students to assist with DDAs each semester.

Cities, citizen groups, and non-profit organizations are eligible for assistance; U of M students can apply for research positions as they are available.

6 working days (for communities), on a semester basis for Research Assistants

Past projects include Friends of Elm Creek, Feline Rescue, Inc., Southeast Como Improvement Association, Stairstep Foundation, and Trust for Public Land.
