DSAB Landscape Architecture member Lauren Arndt

Lauren Arndt

Landscape Design and Planning Student
Class of 2019
Hometown: Menominee Falls, WI

As design students, it is very important to not only learn more about the professional field, but also to make connections with those that already have experience in it. As a DSAB member, I would like to bring more opportunities for alumni and students to connect and to help create a smooth transition to the professional field. I would also like to encourage collaborations between different fields within the College of Design.

DSAB Landscape Architecture member Danielle Jurichko

Danielle Jurichko

BED Landscape Design and Planning/ BA Spanish Studies Student
Class of 2017
Hometown: Minneapolis, MN

As a DSAB member, my aspirations include creating opportunities to connect current and former design students, facilitating the transition process to professional fields, as well as strengthening the College of Design community here at the University. I hope to gain insight and perspective in the landscape architecture field while learning from my fellow board members and design students.

DSAB Landscape Architecture Member Eric Maass

Eric Maass

BED 2011, MLA 2013, Landscape Architecture
Municipal Planner, WSB & Associates

A network is not something that is built over night, or by accident. It is my belief that one of the most important attributes a student or professional can have is a strong network. As a member of the DSAB it is my goal to create opportunities for Design students to connect again and again with professionals within their respective majors, and other majors within the College of Design.

DSAB Landscape Architecture Member Ellen Stewart

Ellen Stewart

MLA 2002, Landscape Architecture
Landscape Architecture, City of Saint Paul

I am excited about serving on the DSAB because I know that we can do more to strengthen our profession and our community when we combine the efforts of students and professionals. Each time I speak at a class, do a design crit for a studio, review portfolios or participate in the mentorship program, I am reminded of the importance of that dialog and the amazing work that students are capable of. Together we can grow and move our profession forward.
