Product design is inherently interdisciplinary, blending design and design-thinking with engineering practices. Perfect for polymaths, or individuals who excel in both traditional right brain and left brain activities, the product design curriculum is team-based and immersive. Product design classes are a hybrid of traditional lecture and studio components and will challenge you to test ideas and develop prototypes using the College of Design’s Digital Fabrication Lab. Students studying product design find careers as product designers, industrial designers, product engineers, and more.
