Landscape Design and Planning Minor

The Landscape Design and Planning Minor is an undergraduate minor focused on issues of land use. In this minor, students explore the different design strategies that could be used to create a future that provides a quality lifestyle in a sustainable environment for an ever-increasing human population.

Admission Requirements:

You must be in good academic standing with a minimum 2.00 cumulative University of Minnesota GPA.

Program Requirements:

  • This minor requires a minimum of 21 credits.
  • All coursework must be must be taken on the A/F grade base and must be completed with a C- or better.
  • No more than three courses taken for a major degree may be applied toward the requirements of the minor.
  • Study abroad and transfer coursework must be approved by the minor advisor.
  • A maximum of nine transfer/study abroad credits may be used toward the minor.

Students are held to the course requirements in place at the time of their admission. As requirements may change in the future, students should refer to their minor APAS for the requirements applicable to them.
