About the Labs
The College of Design has multiple computer labs and classrooms in both Rapson Hall on the Minneapolis campus and McNeal Hall on the St. Paul campus. The labs offer hardware capable of handling graphics-intensive design work and specialized design software. The combined locations also provide students with access to high-quality color printers and plotters, a large format scanner, flat-bed scanners, and a textile printer.
Rapson Hall has an open lab in room 71, and a classroom lab in room 33. McNeal Hall has an open lab in room 69, and classroom labs in rooms 216 and 305.
For more information about hours, locations, room availability, hardware, software, policies, and other lab information, see the links to the right under "General Lab Information" and "Lab Resources".
Please see the Policies page for the CDes IT Computer Lab Usage Policy and Software Change Policy. All users of the computer lab are expected to be familiar with the Lab Usage Policy.
