Spring 2019 Lab News
We made the following changes over summer 2018 to improve the student lab experience:
- New Dell Precision Workstations and monitors in Rapson 33 and 71 (with dual monitors now available in Rapson 33).
- New laser printers to replace the four laser printers in the Rapson 71 and McNeal 69 labs.
- Upgrades to major software applications, including the latest version of Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk, and Sketchup.
- New software titles, including Licaso, Autodesk Alias, Keyshot, Unity 3D, Solidworks Visualize, Sketchup VRay plugin, and ElumTools (note that some titles are only available in Rapson or McNeal)
The cost tracking process started in the Fall 2017 semester will remain in place. Students are required to provide the class for which they are printing to the lab attendant managing the print job.
Reserving the Digital Design Review (DDR) Equipment
We revised our DDR processes and updated our DDR computers over the summer to better meet the needs of the College. Visit the Digital Design Review webpage for more information, including checkout processes for DDR equipment.
