Your CDes APAS report
Your fall 2008 CDes APAS report will be updated with your new CDes major by April 8th (at the latest.) If there are mistakes or if you have questions about your APAS report, talk to your CDes adviser. If you'd like to see how your classes transfer to your CDes major BEFORE your APAS report is updated, print out a "What If" APAS when you sign in to the above APAS report site.
First day registration for fall 2008
As a welcome to your new CDes program we will change your fall 2008 registration time to 8 a.m., Thursday, April 10, 2008. Note: We will make the registration change in the system by Wednesday, April 9th, the day before registration begins, so don't worry if you still see your old registration time in the system before that.
Coordinate campus transfer emails
If you are transferring from a coordinate U of M campus you will NOT be able to use your coordinate campus e-mail address to register at the U of M - Twin Cities. Call 612-301-HELP to get your coordinate campus e-mail switched to a Twin Cities e-mail (ending in "@umn.edu").
Meet your new CDes adviser
All new students are encouraged to contact their CDes adviser before registering for fall 2008 courses. (You will be REQUIRED to meet with your adviser before registering for your spring 2009 classes in November 2008.) BEFORE meeting with your new CDes adviser you must review thoroughly this Webpage, the contents of your admission letter, and the following two Web sites:
