Bridge City Tool Works

Garrett Wade Tools

New York City? Catalog retailers of high quality hand tools. Stuff that nobody else sells.

Lee Valley Tool

Lie-Nielsen Toolworks

Manufactures of highest quality hand planes. Brass, bronze, and iron planes in traditional forms. Again, we don't have any.

Japan Woodworker
800-537-7820
Many people swear that traditional Japanese chisels have no equal. We cannot judge as we are unable to afford them. Japanese saws however are a different matter all together.

amazon.com -- Tools & Hardware
800-343-4205
Tool Crib just isn't the same since they were bought by the big A, but they are still the next best thing to Seven Corners Hardware/Tools on Sale. These two will beat each other's prices, but then what. If we put 'em out of business we'll pay more to someone else.

Harbor Freight
763-571-9390
If tools are too much for your wallet everywhere else, Harbor Frieght is the place for you. This place sells imported tools at cut-rate prices. Of course, you do get what you pay for, but some of it works. Of particular interest is the mini cut-off saw, the likes of which we haven't seen elsewhere at these prices.

Micro-Mark
800-225-1066
"The Small Tool Specialists." Modeling and other small tools you can't find anywhere else.
