Academic Integrity and Student Conduct

Acting with integrity as a student means being honest, trustworthy, fair, respectful, and responsible. It begins with you, and you extend it to all others on campus through your behavior on and off campus as well as in the classroom.

Types of Scholastic Dishonesty:

  • Plagiarism:  Using someone else’s work as your own
  • Fabrication:  Saying that something you've made up is real
  • Cheating:  Copying from another’s work or using work from another class
  • Academic Misconduct:  Tampering with grades or selling/giving test information
