DHA undergraduate students include College of Design students in the following majors:

  • Pre Clothing Design or Clothing Design
  • Pre Graphic Design or Graphic Design
  • Housing Studies
  • Pre Interior or Interior Design
  • Retail Merchandising

2010 Metropolitan Design Center Undergraduate Travel Scholarships
Deadline:  Wednesday, February 24, 2010, 4:30 p.m.
The 2010 Metropolitan Design Center Undergraduate Travel Scholarships will provide up to two undergraduate students in the College of Design the opportunity for self-directed travel abroad.  The scholarships are sponsored by the College of Design Metropolitan Design Center with the conviction that exposure to other cultures is essential for reflecting on our own.    Applicants will identify an urban design issue of concern to the Twin Cities metropolitan area.  Possible issues for the Scholarship include, but are not limited to, waterfront development, homelessness, open space, public transportation, suburbanization, green infrastructure and affordable housing.

College of Design Undergraduate Professional Development Funding These funds support professional development for undergraduate students.  Students are reimbursed for meetings, functions, seminars, conferences, membership fees or events related to their major.   Award amounts vary.
