About the Computer Lab

The College of Design has two computer lab locations (St. Paul and Minneapolis) with a total of seven labs and classrooms with approximately 200 computers, and around 200+ hours of open hours per week. The labs also offer specialized application software including Adobe, Autodesk, ArcGIS, and OptiTex. The combined locations provide students with access to four high-quality color printers along with five color plotters, a large format scanner, four flat-bed scanners, a textile printer and a photo printer.


Rapson Hall has an open lab in room 71, and a classroom lab in room 33. McNeal Hall has an open lab in room 69, and classroom labs in rooms 216, 305, 310, 316, & 336.
